Romantic log cabins nestled within the tall pines give you the privacy you want in romantic getaway. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby Black Hills, and all the iconic attractions found there.

 

Spend time at the impressive Mount Rushmore, admiring it's grandeur. Explore historic trails in the Custer State Park dug by pioneers years before. Connect with the Gold Rush history in the nearby hills.

 

If it's relaxation that you are after, then there is plenty of that for you too. The resort features an in-ground heated swimming pool, complete with waterfall. Watch the stars light up the South Dakota sky as you bubble away in the hot tub.

 

Or, you can simply enjoy each others company in your own homely cabin. Each of the cabins come fully furnished. Kitchen supplies can also be found, so you can cook romantic dinners for each other with nature as your guest. Perhaps you want to cook up a storm on the outdoor grill under the stars.

 

There are seven cabins to select from, and each one has it's own personality and charm. Choose what is best for you.

 

Some cabins feature large decks where you can watch the nearby wildlife play. Some cabins feature rockers and picnic tables, where you can read or sip wine.

 

If you want history, stay in the Silver Mountain #1 cabin. This was the first built within the resort. It was here that the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) to call home during the 1930s after contributing to the area development.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE KNOW:

Silver Mountain Cabins 1 and 2 have central air. All other cabins have a window unit air conditioner.

OTHER INFORMATION:

Check in is after 3pm. Check out is 10am. They do have wireless internet but the location of the cabins to the modem determine the signal strength.
