WHY IS IT SO SPECIAL?

Oak Alley Plantation is a spectacular antebellum mansion house in the breathtaking Louisiana, near the banks of the mighty Mississippi River.

When you arrive, you will be met with an imposing yet breathtaking vision.  This stunning, plantation-style mansion looming right down the end of a long tunnel created by grand, intertwined trees.  As you as you make your way down the long gravel road, their branches will grasp each other tight above you.  It’s a spectacular sight.

It’s beautiful facade has also captured the likes of the movie industry, most famous for being the homeplace of Louis in “Interview With A Vampire”.

Located on the grounds of the majestic antebellum Big House, are six century old cottages just waiting for your arrival.  Each cottage will provide you with a modern, conformable and romantic stay within its traditional wooden exterior.   Keep an eye out for the cottages with bubbling and sensual Jacuzzi style tubs.  If you love the idea of true romance style decorations, ask for the rooms with romantic 4 poster beds.

All cottages also come with soft and incredibly comfortable waffle monogram robes - just pure luxury.

In addition to the idyllic cottages on the grounds, Oak Alley Plantation also offers the Rene House.  This beautiful accommodation is a four bedroom house separated from the main house by rolling pastures and sugar cane fields.   A true isolation.

Each perfectly decorated room can be booked individually, or if you wanted to go all out and treat each other, you could book the entire house.  The Magnolia and Victorian Rooms come with marble whirlpool spa tubs.

Here, however, what will truly seal your hearts is the location of the incredible plantation home.  The 25 acres of luscious and stunning grounds are a perfect setting for an early morning or evening stroll with each other.  Just become lost in the beauty of it all.

It’s deep south magic.

DON'T MISS:

Oak Alley Plantation is more than just a hotel - its a part of a rich deep south history so it would be a shame to leave and not to totally immerse yourself in this rich past.  The plantation offer tours, exhibitions and re-enactments for day visitors, so why not join one yourself and understand the romantic stories behind your romantic stay.

GO THAT EXTRA MILE:

The hotel offer “special cottage packages” which you can order earlier than 48 hours before your arrival for that special treat.   The honeymoon package offers you beautiful robes, wine and chocolate covered strawberries to treat your partner with, or the cheeky “do not disturb” package which includes wine, fruit and cheese tray, late check out and breakfast delivered right to your door.  A lovely romantic touch to make your already perfect stay.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE KNOW:
