WHY IS IT SO SPECIAL?
Get ready to immerse yourself in a stunning historic early 19th century antebellum mansion in Natchez, Mississippi. Set on 26 acres of beautifully manicured gardens, this Monmouth Historic Inn has been classified a National Historic Landmark.
The Monmouth Historic Inn reflects all that is charming, warm, and iconic about the South. You will experience the most gracious hospitality, unforgettable cuisine, a beautiful garden setting to explore, and even historic tours of the mansion.
The mansion itself is simply stunning. The facade is straight out of a postcard, and the ambience is reminiscent of a bygone era. The rooms and suites are each decorated with an elegant romance. Period furnishings accentuate their own character.
Your rooms will be found in either the main house, or one of the seven outbuildings scattered across the grounds. Some of the rooms allow you that extra luxury of relaxing in your own spa tub. Some rooms allow you to watch the stars come out with the light of your own fireplace dancing on the walls during the winter months.
As part of your rate, you will be treated to a complimentary full Southern breakfast. Dine Al Fresco on those gorgeous summer mornings. You will really start the day with that classic Southern goodness. Perhaps deep fried French toast, grits and biscuits, or homemade granola.
Go all out and treat yourself to a romantic getaway package. It's a beautiful occasion with two nights accommodation, a gift certificate for the beautiful Restaurant 1818, sparkling wine, chocolate dipped strawberries, and a morning guided tour of the mansion, just to name a few.
Of course, you can really indulge and add an in-room massage to your stay, as well as a romantic narrated horse-drawn carriage ride through the Historic Downtown.
The package will really allow you to experience the best that the Monmouth Historic Inn and the history that surrounds it, has to offer.
A stunning and iconic Mississippi getaway.
