WHY IS IT SO SPECIAL?

Tracing it's roots back to 1833 when it began life as a stagecoach stop, Glen Gordon Manor is a truly special experience in the stunning Virginia countryside.

Just ask the many members of the British royal family who have stayed there.

Situated on 45 acres, and overlooking the breathtaking Shenandoah National Park, your romantic getaway will be surrounded by lawns, gardens, pastures and parkland, all in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Virginia nature at it's best.

As soon as you enter the main house, you can see that Glen Gordon Manor is brimming with nostalgia. The fire-lit entrance hall embodies the energy of another time. An old hunt room has endless stories within the walls. A charming country kitchen has brought people together for years.

There are seven guest suites for you to select on your romantic adventure. Each are perfectly and warmly decorated to give you the best possible experience. Luxury fabrics, antiques, and attention to detail will lead you to the room perfect for you.

The Briargate Room welcomes you with a Queen sleigh bed and mountain views. The Montejurra Room adds that romantic touch with a four-poster queen and claw foot bath tub. The Albert Room gives you views of the outdoor pool you can enjoy on those warmer days, and the Edward Suite offers you French doors that open into a conservatory, with your own private Jacuzzi.

Just some examples of the beautiful and cozy suites that await you.

Come morning, your own multi-course breakfast is waiting, complimentary with your stay, From home-made granola, to spice baked pears and farm fresh eggs, it's the perfect start to your day.

Come evening, you might want to take advantage of the luxury spa - the newest addition to the Glen Gordon Manor. Couples massage tables, pampered treatments and relaxation and dining packages will leave you completely rejuvenated.

Only one hour from D.C, it truly is a way to escape into nature, and into something special.
