The inn can be found on the Vermont border, and around you is stunning New England countryside where the stress of everyday life can disappear.

 

Not only can you use the peaceful countryside to rejuvenate yourselves, but also the Chesterfield Inn itself. Why not spend an afternoon with wine, nestled beside the parlor fireplace. Perhaps you want to recline by the bright windows and read, with the wildflower meadows as your view.

 

The Chesterfield Inn features 9 guest rooms within the Main Inn itself, sprawled across the knoll atop the winding driveway. Here, you spend the night in the old farmhouse, still with barns and sheds attached, so you can feel the history all around you.

 

Each room has it's own personality and charm, and is beautifully and warmly decorated. Each room also offers it's own special features, so you can choose what is perfect for you.

 

Some rooms showcase the historic setting with barn boards adoring the rustic walls. Others allow you to enjoy your own gas fireplace in your own privacy. Some offer stunning meadow views, and others feature charming four poster beds.

 

An additional two rooms at the Chesterfield Inn are found in The Cottage. These feature whirlpool tubs, as well as gas fireplaces and private decks where you can watch the countryside come to life.

 

Finally, the Johanna Wetherby Building holds the final four rooms, each with similar features as the others - from private terraces, to gas fireplaces, but with a little more privacy.

 

There is an in-house restaurant open for dinner, features delicious, fresh and imaginative cuisine, so why not treat yourself to a date night. The menu uses the freshest regional produce, from Boston seafood and even herbs from their own garden.
