In winter you can spend your days enjoying the many activities in the area.  Cross country skiing and hiking are very popular, or you can even rug up together as you try your hand at ice fishing.   In summer you can take a refreshing dip in the beautiful glacial lake, hike on their many pristine trails, or try your hand at some therapeutic golf.

 

Each room or cottage on the 300 very private acres of Canoe Bay (except Escape) feature something special.  A beautiful fireplace, romantic two person whirlpool tub or your own private deck to sit back and watch nature unfold right in front of you.  

 

The cottages are particularly special as they will guarantee you an incredibly special and romantic time away.  Some offer you to sit on your private deck which hangs right over the lake.  Some are set back in the trees to give you that extra feeling of intimacy.   Each one is beautifully designed, and beautifully created to ensure you have a truly magical time away.

 

Your delicious continental breakfast is included in the rates, and can be delivered straight to your bed should you want to spend some extra quality time together. 

 

Your dinner, held within a glass-enclosed lakeside dining room with truly special views is a multi course feast.  If you want to treat yourself to a truly private dining experience, the Wine Cellar table features just one table for two, and it would be just for you.

DON'T MISS:

The in-house massages.  It would be a shame to visit this beautiful, peaceful setting and not fully immerse yourself in all that you can experience.  A well trained therapist can come straight to your accommodation.  You can lie in the comfort of your deluxe room or suite, looking out onto the crystal blue waters as you sink into another peaceful world.

GO THAT EXTRA MILE:

Surprise that one you love with a romantic, hour long horse-drawn sleigh ride for two through the countryside.  This charming experience is a fantastic winter addition to your already romantic getaway.  In the summer months, you can alternatively book a horse-drawn carriage through an gorgeously rustic country road.
