WHY IS IT SO SPECIAL?

Originally known as The Union Hotel during the Civil War era, The Brick Hotel on the Circle dates back to 1836 and is an important part of USA history. These brick structures were actually very rare prior tot he 19th century, and now less than a dozen actually remain in the state of Delaware!
Today, with loving restoration, many of the original materials are still found within the property, and registered on the National Historic Register, makes for not only a romantic escape but a fascinating one too.
The Brick Hotel on the Circle features 14 individually decorated rooms, each embracing the essence of it's history. Each room has it's own story, and feature their own special amenities.
Fire up the fireplace in The Baker Room, named after the first innkeeper back in the 1830s. Cozy up in your four poster bed as you over look quaint, historic town in Calvert's Sanctuary.
Something else to make you cuddle up to each other at night? The Brick House on the Circle is said to be haunted, but don't worry, we're told they are "friendly"! Happenings include showers turning on by themselves, or re-locating things in the room.
To try and make contact, make sure to book Tinker Hall #4!
To really enjoy the atmosphere of the town, head up to the rooftop garden where you can just get away from it all and take in that New England energy. Make sure you also stop into the Brick Hotel Restaurant and Tavern for that laid back dinner or celebratory cocktail.
