Briar Patch Inn is a magical little place on the edge of Oak Creek.  It also could be a reason in itself to come back to Sedona. It is romantic, cosy, and will surround you with the love of nature as well as your other half.

 

Nestled at the base of the red rock mountains, Briar Patch Inn has perfected the charming decor, layout and personal touches to their 19 historic 1940‘s wooden boutique cabins. All but two cabins boast a beautiful wood burning fire place, but all are adorned with homely Southwestern Charm and Native Indian decor.

 

A beautiful hand written note will greet you as you enter your own little secluded world.  Each cottage comes with its own little porch to spend your mornings taking in the world as it wakes up. Each cabin also has its own private entrance, giving you the complete privacy you could hope for during your stay.  Each cabin also has it's own kitchenette should you decide you want to treat your partner to a loving home cooked meal. Sit out on your private patio, and enjoy your meal together listening to the sounds of the creek.

 

The exceptional breakfast provided is utterly delicious.  The staff go out of their way to make you feel like it was made just for you.  You can choose to eat in their communal reception area, which is home to a lovely library and wood burning fireplace.  If it's a beautiful morning, you may choose to enjoy your meal creekside.

 

Why not start the day filling up on the incredible energy of Sedona. Their attentiveness at Briar Patch Inn makes you feel like family.  They get to know you by name and greet you every time you pass by. ‘Magical’ really is the best word to describe this stunning choice for your romantic getaway.

Each afternoon you will be able to enjoy hot mulled cider or cool iced tea to wash down the freshly baked homemade cookies, fruit and cheese.   For years to come when you smell the beautiful scent of cinnamon it will take you right back to this moment.

 

GO THAT EXTRA MILE:

From our experience, really make the most of the cabin and the grounds.  Put a picnic together and sit next to the creek, have midnight candle lit drinks in their beautiful gardens... enjoy the cabins, enjoy the grounds and enjoy each other.  The cabins are so close to Sedona but you feel a million miles away from civilization.  Take advantage and really just make this about each other.

 

WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE KNOW:

Due to fire restrictions, the wood burning fireplaces are only allowed to be operational between October and mid-May, so if you want to enjoy these cabins at their most comforting, make sure you book in between those winter months.
